I get SO many compliments on these socks. I love wearing them with anything I choose to wear and I really love the fact that they are made from recycled materials! As consumers, we have to show the market that we will buy this kind of product and they should start making ALL clothing from recycled materials. Only 3% of recycling is actually recycled so quit buying more STUFF made from new materials. We have too much plastic already!Fits well, attractive and brings color into my life! So we’ll made.Love these had forgotten mine at home in FlI wear them while donating platelets / as I find the donation ctr on cool sideColors and quality. These socks are absolutely GORGEOUS, and very high quality! I ordered the Women's size Small. I usually knit my own socks out of merino wool (but don't enjoy doing color-work AT all), and these remind me of Cascade's Fixation yarn (super-stretchy cotton yarn). They are very, very stretchy. Unfortunately, my feet are a child's size 2/woman's size 4 (exactly 8" long) with very slender ankles, and the socks were much too large for me. I so much love colorful, mis-matching socks, that I've always made mine that way. My disappointment with the fit was pretty keen, but I knew it was a crapshoot when I ordered them. *sighI gave them a trip through the washer and dryer (with fingers crossed), but they remained too large, so - very little shrinkage. I gave them to my daughter, who wears a woman's size 6 to 6 1/2. While there was still too much "play" in the socks when she tried them on, they at least fit her feet better than they did mine. Her ankles are a bit sturdier than mine, but the sock didn't bind anywhere on her foot, at all.I would guess that the size Small in these socks might comfortably fit *up to* a woman's size 8, IF their feet were narrow to medium width, AND if they had slender-to-normal ankles, but that is just a guess. I'm not sure how well they would fit really sturdy ankles, if that same size 8 foot were also wide. Probably going up a size to Medium might be the best way to go, especially if the socks might shrink over time.I've just discovered they have kids' socks, as well, so have just ordered a pair (large) for myself, and will post a review when I get them. There aren't the color selections as there are for adult socks, but I'll take what I can get. :)I just got these today, but there were unanswered questions I had when reading the reviews so I thought I'd post them here.First, the small size definitely fits a woman's 5-6 and a half shoe size. These "Cosmo colored" socks are not thin, but they are not as bulky as fleece socks either. The picture is realistic of what I received and how it fits the foot. I have small, wide (b-c) feet and these fit very well, with a little wiggle room side to side in the toes to make them comfortable. I have average legs and these fit very well on the ankles and calves. If you have wide lower legs, you might want to rethink these. They are NOT made to be slouchy in your fitted size (maybe if you go a size up?) The socks are not cushiony or extra soft, but they are comfortable. One review I read mentioned the rolled part of the sock in the picture. It puffs out like that when you wear them loose on your foot (which I like), but when they are off your feet the rolled section is flat...perhaps a different kind of stitching makes it that way. For looks these are a definite 10. For the money, yes it is a lot, but it is hard to find unusual clothing items without paying more. They are well made, and the fun, happy color combinations are wonderful, so ultimately the price value is up to you. For me, I will see how these wear over time and buy another pair. I will air dry them since in this size I wouldn't want them to shrink as other reviewers said. Maybe I'll splurge on a bigger size for a slouchier fit and machine dry them.I LOVE these socks! I have 3 pair that I received as Christmas gifts & have worn them for years. They are colorful, super high quality -- keep their shape over MANY machine wash & dry cycles. However, I wear mostly black lounging sweatpants and on a whim thought I would see if they made them in Black & White. Thank you Amazon for an efficient search - there they were! I normally would not pay this much for a pair of socks, but I knew these socks were top quality. Surprisingly warm for cotton socks - thick and tight knit.So cute and fit perfectly! Unique! They are fun to wear. Not quite as soft as anticipated, but not a big problem. HINT: I did weave the longer threads that are inside the socks, so there is no chance of catching my toes on them. They are expensive, but definitely worth the money. Everyone needs a pair of Solmate mismatched crew socks. Do recommend this length, as the ankle length would be too short to show off the great colours & wonderful designs.March 30/16... PURCHASED 2nd pair...Beautiful colours. Same great quality. Makes the mornings more fun when you put on a beautiful, comfortable FUN SOCKS.These are great socks. Comfortable, durable and fun to wear. I got a pair for a gift that were the same colour (black, white and grey) as a pair I had purchased. I thus learned that although each pair is "mismatched" they are identical, so if you chose, you could have two pairs of perfectly matched socks! (But where is the fun in that?)These socks are excellent. I have bought the same socks before and the wear well, colors last, socks do not stretch out. And everybody loves them. I have more than a dozen pairs. I wear them daily. They are especially nice when I have been kayaking all day and my feet are waterlogged, then they draw the moisture from my feet. Perfect socks for me.I love these socks!! Very comfortable and eye catching. They are the only socks that prevent my feet from sweating when I wear my work boots all day long. I’ve been searching for such a product for years!!Love these socks...ordered 4 pr.....comfy and cozy while making a fashion statement! Would order again....hopefully additional colour combos will be available in the future.
