I love my older socks and don't wear them out, ever. Maybe because I have many pairs. But they started out snug and stayed that way. Didn't shrink. Got very hard and tough, as cotton does. These are easier to put on, both softer even after several washes, and bigger in the foot and the leg. I didn't need the height, but they slouch nicely. So, large is great for a size 10. Since I sometimes wear them with sandals on a dry winter day, people have walked across the room to say theylike my socks! Me, I love them.
